Due to its advantages of strong compression resistance, low crushing value, strong corrosion resistance and good adhesion of asphalt, basalt has been internationally recognized as a better material for building roads, railways and airport runways. Not only that, basalt is also the high-quality aggregate of high-rise building lightweight concrete. Because of its many pores and hard characteristics, it can reduce the weight of concrete by mixing it in the concrete, but also has the advantages of sound insulation and heat insulation.
Basic process of basalt production line:
The processing of basalt can be divided into three stages: coarse crushing, medium fine crushing and sand shaping.
First stage: coarse crushing
Basalt bulk materials are uniformly fed by vibrating feeder through the silo and transported to jaw crusher for coarse crushing. The coarse crushed materials are screened by vibrating screen and then transported to cone crusher by belt conveyor for medium and fine crushing.
The second stage: medium and fine crushing
After the medium and fine crushing, the basalt transported to the cone breaking is screened by the circular vibrating screen, and the material greater than or equal to 40mm is returned to the cone breaking for crushing again.
The third stage: Sand Making
The crushed basalt particles less than 40 mm are sent to the impact crusher (sand machine) for further crushing and shaping, and the materials greater than or equal to 20 mm are returned to the sand machine for further fine crushing. Materials less than 20 mm are sent to the circular vibrating screen for screening and packaging. If clean basalt is needed, it can be sent to the sand washing machine for cleaning.
