In the construction of expressway, high requirements are put forward for the shape and grading of concrete aggregate, especially the content of needle and flake in basalt (diabase) gravel. In order to meet the requirements of particle size and grading, particle shape, consistency of particle composition, cleanliness and 0.075mm particle content, etc.
Expressway aggregate production process:

The quarried stone is initially crushed by the vibrating feeder to the jaw crusher, and the secondary crushing is completed by the cone crusher. The materials broken by the cone are screened by the vibrating screen, and the materials larger than 40mm are returned to the cone for breaking and re crushing, forming a closed cycle. The materials smaller than 40mm are sent to the impact crusher for shaping and crushing. The materials broken by vertical impact are screened on the finished product screen, and the materials larger than 20 mm are returned to vertical impact breaking circulation for crushing, and the materials smaller than 20 mm are transported to each finished product pile by belt conveyor.
